I can’t wait to tell you about the colours on Bodmin Moor this morning!  Although it was raining there were patches of sunshine which lit up small patches of land like a spotlight.

I drove up there through some of the tiniest lanes where the grasses and foxgloves touched each side of the car, then out on to the top where the wild ponies were grazing.  From there down to Delfy Bridge spanning the swollen river where, on fine days, families picnic and paddle and villagers have duck races!

All these things are so hard to capture on canvas but it is so wonderful to try.

So many wonderful foxgloves on Bodmin Moor!
