Yesterday was fantastic in Port Isaac! Beautiful and sunny and warm!
I had to go there to have a rehearsal for a Music Hall evening we are doing on Saturday. When that was finished I walked down to the beach and sat and did a couple of watercolour sketches. There was all sorts happening on the beach, fishermen were working on boats – people were walking, dogs were having a great day chasing seagulls and yapping like mad with excitement!
I have to say I felt rather guilty – or perhaps just fortunate – as Scotland and the North are having the most awful blizzards and I am worried about some elderly relatives who are finding life quite hard right now and they can’t wait for some fine spring weather to cheer them up a bit.
It would be wonderful to be able to send them some sunshine in a box with a great big bow!! And lots of love from Cornwall – of course!
